On Monday, our school was very fortunate to have a wonderful role model at our assembly. His name was Marc Duffy and he shared how he had turned his life around and how learning to read had helped shaped the person that he is today.
Some great advice he gave was:
-to never give up
-you're never too old to start
-reading will help you in life
