Duffy assembly
On Monday, our school was very fortunate to have a wonderful role model at our assembly. His name was Marc Duffy and he shared how he had turned his life around and how learning to read had helped shaped the person that he is today.
Some great advice he gave was:
-to never give up
-you're never too old to start
-reading will help you in life

Swimming safety
Room 9 have been learning some valuable skills at Massey Park pools with some great swimming instructors. Fantastic smile Faavae, you all like like you are having fun!
Jack and Jurgen are very excited! They did a great job listening to the instructor, well done.

Last Friday we were all learning the Sasa! Hand eye co-ordination is so important, but Room 9...you guys did a GREAT JOB! Well done!
